Dr. Katie Redd is proud to be a part of the team at South Golden Pet Hospital where she brings over four years of clinical experience and a deep commitment to compassionate, collaborative care. As a founding team member, she is excited to help build a clinic that values both high-quality medicine and strong relationships with pets and their families.

With a background in shelter and community medicine, Dr. Redd has experience handling a wide variety of cases and working with many different animals. Her professional passions include soft tissue surgery, feline medicine, emergency medicine, and exotic animal care.

She believes deeply in the spectrum of care model—recognizing that every pet deserves thoughtful, personalized treatment options. Her goal is to ensure that every client feels heard, empowered, and supported as a true partner in their pet’s health journey.

When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Redd enjoys hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, and singing in local choirs. She also can be found traveling the country and the world on spay and neuter trips, or volunteering as a team lead of the Denver chapter of the Street Dog Coalition. She shares her home with two cuddly cats, Milo and Frida, and a mischievous ferret named Penny.
